A Word on GUILD STANDARDS

This is an awesome thing that is found in the game Warhammer Online. Guild Standards are flags that you are able to purchase once your guild reaches rank 6. These have different benefits, depending on which ones you have purchased.

For example, at guild rank 6 you are able to purchase two different benefits for your guild standards. The most beneficial at this point would be the +5% Defense and +10 Return damage ones. Once you add one of these to a flag and take out that flag, you will obtain not only the benefit that you attached to it but also +25% Run speed.

Although these are mainly meant for sieges and Keeps, these are usable anywhere it seems. For example, you are able to use these to run around PvE areas, just to speed it up.

While the Standards do have some nice positives, there are also a couple of negatives that come with them as well.

The first bad part is that if you die while holding a Standard, it disappears. With these cosing 1.89 gold each, that can be a huge loss if you are dying often while holding them. Towards the later parts of the game this loss isn't as high if you do not die often, however if you do it can be detrimental to your finances.

Along with this, only two people can be assigned to be “Standard Bearers” at rank 6. Sadly, this even includes the guild leader as one of them. If the guild leader chooses to be one of the bearers, he or she can only designate one more bearer. If they want, however, they can take away their own privilege and let two people take over.

You are able to change the Standard Bearer privileges any time, whether you are in combat or not, and whether or not the players are online. This does help out a lot, if you remember to keep up with updating the list.

In terms of Keeps, one of the best ideas with Standards is to plant it inside the Keep once you get your foot in the door. This will help benefit everyone that is around you, so it can make taking the Keep significantly easier.

On the other hand, however, enemies are able to steal your flag, thereby costing you another 1.89 gold for a replacement. Do not place the flag unless you have enough gold to compensate for it or unless you are already stabilized on the ground floor of the Keep.

Warhammer online trick: Lost Vale - Skip Gorak

The barrier that that separates Gorak and The Worldbearer can be bypassed without fighting Gorak. It is just possible to jump to the rock on to the left of the barrier on the waterfall, and then jump up onto the stairs. It is a difficult jump, but if just one healer makes it, the rest of the party can be ressed up from the top ledge after pulling and wiping to some mobs.

Warhammer online Trick: AoE Grind Spot 30-40

This works for anyone at least level 30. Just form a group: 1 aoe caster, 2 healers, 1 tank, and anything else. This is on the Eataine map and is the Last Stand PQ. There are up to 8 mobs that spawn in a group there. This takes about 8 minutes to run and you can get about a level an hour doing it.

Warhammer online Exploit: Butcher Easy

1) Go into the room next to the butcher.
2) Have your healer go to the second room, the one closest to the gnoblar.
3) Have the healer jump on top of the spike in that roome.
4) Have the rest of the group go into the room where the healer is.
5) The tank will pull the butcher with no dps attacking - The tank can not taunt the gnoblar.
6) The healer will then heal the tank nonstop until the gnoblar is underneath the healer.
7) Once the gnoblar is there, he can not do damage to anyone.
8) Now that the gnoblar is there, you can pull the butcher into the far corner in the healers room and kill him.

Warhammer online: Engineer - Being a jerk

Engineers get a bad rep in the game, because the only successful way to play one is by being a cheap. I'll try and fill you in on the good stuff.

  • Magnet pull. It doesn't pull though doors anymore, but you can piss off a lot of people still by just dropping it in the area of a few Pyros Mages.

  • Turret shoots through walls

  • Grenades have their own line of sight once they hit their target, so you can damage people around corners by hitting their pals standing next to them who are not hiding.

  • Napalm burns for 30 seconds whether you are dead or not. This means your entire WB could be wiped at a BO in the last 20 seconds before capping, and you shoot off a napalm. They will have to watch helplessly as the BO caps to order while their whole team was sitting on the BO. (Warning doing this means you will become a main target during open RvR).

Being an engineer is hard, and you don't deal a lot of damage (compared to some of the other classes), but you will piss off a lot of players.

Warhammer online cheat: Give Gold Bags to Others

If someone gets a gold bag and someone else needs it more, the leader needs to set the loot options to master looter with a loot threshold of common. Then make the person that won the bag the master looter. The person will then open the chest and right click the bag. It can then be assigned to anyone who got at least a green bag. The bag must be right clicked before taking it from the chest.

Warhammer online cheat - how to scavenge 30% quicker

Scavenging 30% faster skipping animated / timer

Be sure to have autoloot checked.

When scavenging, allow the scavenge timer bar to get about 1/4 full, and perform any instant cast action.

After this you can walk away and will still get the scavenged loot placed in your bag.

This will allow faster scavenging since you dont have to wait through the animation or the timer.

You can start another scavenge before one if finished.
Really allows me to get alot of scaveneges in PQ's.

Warhammer online Invincibility Exploit (Get under Eataine.)

Details:
Use the print screen jump on any building located near the red dot in the image below. Face the wall, and be staring at the building on a flat side(harder to do on corners of walls). Make sure you are not at an angle (or you will travel down the wall while doing the print screen jump). I find it best to print screen jump on what looks like a support strut running up the side of the wall. Spam print screen and jump alternating VERY fast. Do it the right amount and you will end up falling into the building/into the water beneath the world.

From there you just swim around and attack everything. Monsters in CH15 PQ don't evade bug. Easy farming for inf+chest rewards.

You will need to decide when to stop stacking the printscr+jumps to properly fall into the building. I cannot tell you when to stop because it's different for each persons computer(the printscreen jump bug relies on interface lag that causes your jumps to stack onto each other while near an almost verticle surface : It relies on how long it takes your computer to screenshot)

It takes some practice to get print screen jumping working. Exploit does work. For those who are not used to print screen jumping it may take a long time or you may end up on the roof of the building instead. I can reproduce this exploit and will provide screenshots later.

Warhammer online Weapon Proc Exploit

This was discovered using my Witch Elf. In theory this should work for ALL other races/classes.

Basically you can get (for example) Frenzy/Nightfall to work while they are UNEQUIPED.

Wear both weapons that use Frenzy and Nightfall, then take them off (using other weapons). Inside your combat logsyou will see both Frenzy and Nightfall procs showing up (doing shock x and decay x against your enemy)

This means that the procs from these weapons are likely from a hidden self buff. That is why they disappear when we die. It's also why we can unequip them and get the procs from any weapon.

TL;DR version - As long as you get frenzy and nightfall, you can get the weapon procs from any weapon you swap out (before you die). This means you can find weapon's with better stats and use those for the procs instead.

For Witch Elves - it also means that you can go ahead and grab SPITE for an extra free proc and rotate (on a macro) all 3 daggers.

Bear in mind you still need those daggers in the first place to do the procs (note Brutality doesn't have a DD proc.)

WAR Exploit: loot and kill without getting hit

At grimbeard station in chp 12 greenskin you can get on the train tracks and walk to the edge at an angle where you are kind of floating in space. you can grind the mobs patting below you, they cant path to you, and you can loot them when you kill them. Good greens so far.

As a sorceress this is easy, but i cant aoe them, the ones not directly targeted reset before they die. Be mindful of dwarves gaurding the stairs though, sometimes they can path to the top of the tracks where you are. I ground to elite chp 12 influence like this.

Thought i would add the best place for this is at the middle of the track in the station, on the north side of the track. There are 3 spawns and two pats that make for consistent grinding.

WAR Lagjumping

This is old stuff, but doesn't see it anywhere and it's still working (Less than before but still works)

For this you'll need to play in windowed mode...

Find a place you can't climb by a few inches (rock, house top, etc).
You simply jump forward, and ~0.2sec after click and old the mouse button on the Title of the form, then release. You'll be able to climb on rocks and places you shouldn't be able to with this... but not everywhere. It'll give you a little boost

I've been able to climb on housetop, rocks in scenario where everyone else couldn't climb (except thoses who played DAOC lol). Mythic apparently worked on this bug but it still work a little (you can't jump 20feet now or lagpull in rvr).

Have Fun!

Reikland mob farming Cheat

This cheat is only for Destruction.
In Reikland, if you go to the PQ Hunting the Hunters, there is a stairwell at the front of the towers. If you stand on the rail and get enemy mobs on the rail with you, they can't hit you but you can hit them. Here's a video of it in action:

But there is a catch. You MUST aggro them before walking or getting up there. If you lose aggro once they're up there they reset and it does not work. Recommended level 37+

Solo Hero mob Nerx Gutslime for Easy Loot (healers only)

Located in Mount Bloodhorn there is a Hero mob named Nerx Gutslime. He is in a cave along the eastern side of the zone 53500 , 44500 near a large Dwarf statue. There is a path to the left of the dwarf that leads up to a gap you need to jump to the next platform. You will see a log ramp that you run up and the cave is right to the left.

The great thing about this hero is that he is a shaman and does not melee, he only uses ranged attacks as long as you stay about 30 yards from him. When fighting him at range the only thing you need to worry about is a pitiful dot he puts on you that ticks for 300 dmg every 3 seconds for 9 seconds, so healing through it is not a problem at all.

It takes about 20-30 min to dps him down depending on the healers spec but the loot he drops is well worth the time invested.

Here is a link with his location, loot, and a pic of Nerx.

Nerx Gutslime - NPCs - Warhammer Online

The items are pretty damn good so killing him for an upgrade is an option or if you make talismans this can be a good way to make some gold. So far from my experience the items can be salvaged into uncommon 175 fragments and also have a chance to be salvaged into a 200 rare fragment.

Nerx like most Lair Heros has a 12 hour respawn timer so depending on when you kill him there is a chance for 2 kills per day. He also drops up to 2 weapons at a time, for me it seemed that he dropped 2 weapons about 75% of the time.

This can easily be done with multiple casters along with one healer and you can duo Nerx with a healer and a melee class as long as the healer takes him down about 15% before the melee jumps in. Its also a good idea for the melee class to get behind Nerx which will keep you from taking any dmg from the dot becuase it has a cone radius.

Thats about it hope this helps someone.

Warhammer Online Builds - White Lion Template

This was rather a difficult choice for a template. You can choose to strengthen yourself, your pet, or both. I would normally select "myself", however after quite a bit of debate I went with choosing "both" which is the path of "The Hunter". This choice was made for no other reason then for the end game PvP viability of the build. Top three stats:

  • Strength = Increased melee damage

  • Wounds = Increased hit points

  • Toughness = Lowers incoming damage.

The 25 points will be placed as follows: (There will be a few extra points due to RvR rewards, however we will not use them here)

15 in "The Hunter"
Buy all skills in "The Hunter" tree for one point each. I know this is very unusual as I do not like getting all the skills in a single tree line, however for this build I will make an exception.

The last 4 points will be put in "The Guardian" tree. Any additional points should also be placed in "The Guardian", there is no reason to buy the bottom skill in the tree.

80 RvR points to be placed in:

  • Might level 1 = 1 point

  • Might level 2 = 3 points

  • Might level 3 = 6 points

  • Might level 4 = 10 points

  • Might level 5 = 14 points

  • Fortitude level 1 = 1 point

  • Fortitude level 2 = 3 points

  • Assault level 1 = 2 points

  • Assault level 2 = 4 points

  • Assault level 3 = 6 points

  • Opportunist level 1 = 5 points

  • Opportunist level 2 = 10 points

  • Opportunist level 3 = 15 points

The purpose of this build is to be able to do your own thing with minimal management of your pet. While you will still need to keep an eye on him and manage him to an extent, you will not have to micromanage him. You will be able to kill caster easy and with "Pounce", they will never know where you came from. This build will give you more then enough DPS and enough survival to rip up either the front or back of the enemies line of combat.

Here are the planned active morale skills:

  • Level 1 = Sever Nerve

  • Level 2 = Flying Axe

  • Level 3 = Dominance

  • Level 4 = Blade and Claw

Slotted Tactics can be changed "on the fly", as long as you are not in combat. Since there are 5 quick slots available, I would use each one in a different situation. One for PvP fight, one for PvE Group, and one for PvE solo. Here is my choice for a "PvP fight":

  • Brute Force

  • Pack Hunting

  • Lion Heart

  • Hack and Slash

Build Strength:
All around decent DPS and survival skills.

Build Weakness:

Since this is a well rounded build there really are not any weaknesses.

Warhammer Online Build: Engineer Template

This build should get you up and running as a "medium" range specialist. This means that you will have to remain a little more mobile then a long range specialist, as you will always need to be "on the move".

  • Ballistic Skill = Increased ranged damage.

  • Wounds = Increased hit points

  • Toughness = Lowers incoming damage.

The 25 points will be placed as follows: (There will be a few extra points due to RvR rewards, however we will not use them here)

15 in "The Grenadier" The following skills should be purchased for one point each:

  • Sticky Bomb

  • Throwing Arm

  • Strafing Run

  • Bandolier

  • Napalm grenade

  • Artillery Barrage

The following skill should not be purchased: "Extra Powder" The last 4 points will be put in the "Tinkerer" tree. Any additional points should also be placed in the Tinkerer tree, there is no reason to buy the bottom skill in the tree.

80 RvR points to be placed in:

  • Marksmen level 1 = 1 point

  • Marksmen level 2 = 3 points

  • Marksmen level 3 = 6 points

  • Marksmen level 4 = 10 points

  • Marksmen level 5 = 14 points

  • Fortitude level 1 = 1 point

  • Fortitude level 2 = 3 points

  • Sharp Shooter level 1 = 2 points

  • Sharp Shooter level 2 = 4 points

  • Sharp Shooter level 3 = 6 points

  • Sure Shot level 1 = 5 points

  • Sure Shot level 2 = 10 points

  • Sure Shot level 3 = 15 points

As far as AP, range, and DPS go, this should be your best build. As mentioned you have to be mobile with this build, however that should not be a problems.

Here are the planned active morale skills:

  • Level 1 = Point - Blank

  • Level 2 = Unshakable Focus

  • Level 3 = Cannon Smash

  • Level 4 = Artillery Barrage

Slotted Tactics can be changed "on the fly", as long as you are not in combat. Since there are 5 quick slots available, I would use each one in a different situation. One for PvP fight, one for PvE Group, and one for PvE solo. Here is my choice for a "PvP fight":

  • Steady Aim

  • Throwing Arm

  • Tangling Wire

  • Bandolier

Build Strength:

Great medium range AOE damage, with some added CC.

Build Weakness:

Cannot sit still in one place to long on a mobile battlefield
