Warhammer online Trick: AoE Grind Spot 30-40

This works for anyone at least level 30. Just form a group: 1 aoe caster, 2 healers, 1 tank, and anything else. This is on the Eataine map and is the Last Stand PQ. There are up to 8 mobs that spawn in a group there. This takes about 8 minutes to run and you can get about a level an hour doing it.

Warhammer online strategy to level 21+ solo, influence + gunbad

Mythic changed the XP function for level 21-31 last week. Players can take advantage of this by going to Gunbad.

When you zone in, choose the left path over the bridge toward a couple champion goblin squiq herders and their 5 non-champ pet squiqs. These non-champ squiqs are level 25. I was able to kill them at level 21 as a witch elf, depending on your class type, your milage may vary. They were worth 1680 xp each at level 210, by level 25 they were down to 750 exp each, but still worth 5 times as much as normal mobs. (which they are).

So, first go across the bridge, kill all 10 of the squiqs, if you are level 21, killing 10 will result in 16,800 xp to kill 10 mobs... seeing as most quests for this level only give out around 2500-3000 xp, this is insane xp. Once you kill those 10, they will need to be given some time to respawn. Move further into the cave and hug the right wall... now, I am not sure how tough this will be for non-stealth classes. This tip may end here for non stealthers.... anyway if you get past, you can get to another non-champ squiq area that is even better.... because it is inside a PQ that gives Gunbad influence.

The first stage of this PQ is to kill 18 squiqs. If you are solo, you are getting the mad XP for each kill, plus you get 600 influence per squiq kill. If you repeat this stage 1 of this PQ, 8 times you will be max faction for Gunbad. To get the most out of my time, I would queue up for scenarios right outside the Gunbad entrance, zone in, kill the first 10 squiqs for XP, if the scenario pops I take it. if not then I moved into the next area for XP and INF.

How Scenario XP/RP Really Works & What You Need To Know To Farm It

I'm going to keep this short and simple, as there is a lot of misconceptions about how these two values are calculated. I gathered this data through testing and playing over 250 scenarios and accumulating around 11,000 RvR kills on a Runepriest! For the classes I list, assume the true is the same for the Destruction equivs. I am a Runepriest, so I will post some of my general farming tips and strategies for that class.

I've joined a match with only 7 minutes left to go, only to have 1,500 more Renown then anyone else in the entire match. I've joined matches late and earned the most RP/XP out of everyone in the scenario. Farming XP/RP is pretty straight forward, there is no complex math involved or crazy weird mechanics for calculating it. After reading this, you should be able to go out there and maximize your farmtr0n.

Experience Breakdown:

Experience (XP) is gained through kills and kills only. You do not gain XP for doing objectives, healing people, or damaging them. You gain much more XP for getting the killing blow, and even more XP if you get a solo kill.

To get a 'kill', you either need to be near the person when someone in your Team kills them, OR, you kill them, OR, you need to 'tag' them for death, aka, do any amount of damage to them atleast once. When they die, even if it's 10 minutes later, you will be credited for the kill. If you're a Runepriest, it's important to lay some of your crappy dots, or AoE dot, on enemies, just to 'tag' them for kills. By doing this as an RP, you can easily tie the lead for kills on your team, despite not really doing anything to anyone.

XP is ratio'd to your level. The higher level you are, the more XP you'll get out of the final XP pool for your team (more on this later). So if you find yourself 'doing' better then other players in your scenario but getting less XP, it's probably because they were 1) higher level then you, or 2) in a better team then you which earned more pool XP.

You also gain a Win XP bonus at the end. Currently a Tier 3 Win gives me 8,500 XP. I do not know the rates for the other Tiers.

Renown Breakdown:

Renown (RP) is gained by getting kills, killing people, and solo-killing people. You also gain it through healing people other then yourself. The general forumula for Renown from heals is the amount you healed the player for divided by 100 (rounded down). So if you heal someone for 370, you will get a +3 RP update. So if you are a Runepriest, having HoT's all over the place is pretty important for farming Renown. If someone falls into the lava, thank whoever knocked them there, and then spend all your AP healing them with Grungi's Gift untill they die. You'll get quite the RP for it, I promise

Much like XP, Renown is pooled for your team and split between you at the end of the match. It is not scaled to your level, so if you are low level, you can still farm high amounts of RP and beat out high levels on the final score chart.

You also gain a Win RP bonus at the end. Currently a Tier 3 Win gives me 600 RP. I do not know the rates for the other Tiers.

Team Breakdown (IMPORTANT):

Experience (XP) and Renown (RP) is shared with your team. If you play in your own team, you keep all the xp/rp you earn. If you suck at earning xp/rp, you'll want to join a team with xp/rp farmers (Runepriests & Brightwizards). If you are a Runepriest or Brightwizard, you probably will want to be in your very own team. Runepriests can't kill anyone, so you'll get crap XP, but you'll get the most Renown out of any class. My RP can farm 4,000 RP in a scenario, but I'll usually get less then 2,000 XP! My friends Brightwizard can farm 20,000 XP in a scenario, and also farm 4,000 RP as well. BW's are the scenario farming champs if they go solo, however, this is only true if they have a dedicated Runepriest in another team healing them.

Remember, everything you earn is shared with your team, and everything they earn is shared with you. If you are on a team and you are the best player in terms of earnings, this will work to your disadvantage. If you are a Brightwizard or Runepriests, try to get on to teams with other BW's and RP's. If you're on a team with nothing but tanks and melee, and they're higher level then you, they'll get 80% of everything you earn, leaving you with nothing much to brag about.

There are 5 teams available to join during a match. You can change teams at any time during the match by click on the White Flag button on your screen. You're usually put on Team 1 or 2, sometimes 3 if it's a full match (most players I've seen is 18 per side, aka 3 teams of 6 players per side). If you want to try solo, leave your Team and join an empty one like Team 4 or Team 5.

And that about wraps up the guide. To farm high XP/RP, you generally need to run strats different then strats needed to win the match, so you will need to find a nice balance between maximum farm-mode and win-mode, as winning in itself gives huge XP/RP bonuses. So don't exactly throw a match just to farm a bit of XP or RP, as it'll not be close to the bonuses you get from winning. However, if you already are going to lose, might as well stop playing to win and start playing to farm.

Reikland mob farming Cheat

This cheat is only for Destruction.
In Reikland, if you go to the PQ Hunting the Hunters, there is a stairwell at the front of the towers. If you stand on the rail and get enemy mobs on the rail with you, they can't hit you but you can hit them. Here's a video of it in action:

But there is a catch. You MUST aggro them before walking or getting up there. If you lose aggro once they're up there they reset and it does not work. Recommended level 37+

Warhammer online Glitch: lvl 40 instant respawn, chaos wastes

Near the topright corner of the Chaos Wastes map:

there is a mob named "Templar Armand" standing under a tree that instantly respawns.
Additionally, the non-aggro mobs that are near him dont pull with him no matter whether you are Order or Destruction.

Warhammer online: Good level 32 Grind Spot for Destruction and order

The point of this spot is all the mobs are at about 50% hp or a little less. I grinded this spot for an hour or so and gives about 90k xp per hour at lvl 32 on a WH having to kill 1 at a time, but I noticed a marauder bot farming the order npcs and I figure he was racking in good xp quickly. They respawn relatively quickly (about a minute in between spawns) but there is so many you never really run out. I got about 500-600xp and I could 1-2 hit them. There is a trick to it for melee classes, if you dont hit them with ranged attack first about 30% of the time they will run to there spawn location and regen all HP.

Anyways this isn't epic or anything because you can quest in Eataine and get right at 90k xp an hour also. but I figured this might be a good bot spot for when you sleep ;-)

Warhammer tips and tricks: flying bug, hiding the flag in pg and single healer out heals the dps of three nukers

There is a bug that is very rare but when it does hit it is always fatal. It usually happens upon leaving a PvP scenario, as you can see here...

You just start floating higher, and higher! Eventually though, what goes up, must come down. You can even enter another PvP scenario, if one pops real quick, however when you get out you will still be bugged until you die.

Hiding The Flag In PG (Destruction)
In Phoenix Gate, there is a little trick you can use to stealth the flag so Order cannot see it. It is rather simple really, just go behind your little keeps tower, as you can see in the screenshot the Order cannot see the flag because the tower blocks it out. This is not an exploit as the Order can simply come to your location. It is not foolproof as I have been caught there a few times by a Witch Hunter, but that is very rare.

single healer out heals the dps of three nukers
There scenario really surprised me, look closely at the top three nukers.(A level 30 and two level 29's) All their damage combined was mitigated by one level 28 Zealot. Obviously full heal spec'ed and a decent player.

Warhammer online: T1 Boss-Lairs Explained

Curious what the deal is with those strange doors lurking in the far corners of the T1 RvR areas?! Do you seek Boss mobs that drop incredibly awesome gear for you and the rest of your friends?

Then gather 'round children and embrace the coming of the guide!

1. Lair Of "The Bandit Queen"

Region: Ekrund
Location: Head North East of the Cannon Battery RvR Capture Point. You will find a path leading up along a mountain-side and into the hills beyond some trees. The lair is a circular door in the cliff-face.

Door Puzzle: You will notice that as you approach the door of this Lair you are shrouded in a dark aura. This aura is the key to unlocking the lair. Have one or more members of your group stand at the door to activate the aura active on the rest of your group. With the aura active, the non-door members of your party should venture out into the local area and find an enemy player to kill. Upon killing the player, if the aura was active, an animation of a spirit leaving the body of the dead player will occur and the door will swing open.

It should be noted that the requirements to keep the aura active are inconsistent. Sometimes it requires only a single player stand near the door - other times it requires 2 or 3. It is theorized that it may be proportional based on the number of people in your group.

Boss: Renatta Betz, "The Bandit Queen" is a spectre looking mob. She is a level 11 Hero. She tends to do almost entirely single-target focus damage and is a simple tank and spank. It is recommended that you bring multiple healers as she does quite a lot of damage even to a tank with shield. This requires a group of at least 4 or 5 solid players around level 10ish.
The fight is mostly an endurance battle and drags on for roughly 5 minutes or so, the priority is to keep the tank alive and steadily DPS her.

Loot: Renatta Betz drops blue quality Helms. She drops 1 helm per kill for a random class in the party. The helms require level 11.

2. Lair of Camilla The Decayed

Region: Norsca RvR area.

Location: From the Nordland RvR area, swim north into Norsca and next to the Cove Capture Point there is a large Island with a door in the northern face of it.

Door Puzzle: In front of the door to this lair stands 6 stones, each stone has the emblem of a given player race in WAR. To solve the puzzle simply have one of each race from your chosen faction stand on their corresponding stone.

It should be noted that this puzzle is easily flustered and if you jump on the wrong stones or move on and off them too much you can cause a cooldown to proc which forces you to wait 30 seconds to a minute for them to become active again.

The easiest way to handle this is to tell everyone in your group to Stay The Hell Off The Stones, and then instruct 1 person from each race to step up on their stone one-by-one.

When the puzzle is complete the door will slide open.

Boss: The boss here is Camilla The Decayed. She is a level 11 Hero mob. She is a "Lich" type mob. Being a Lich Camilla has a small PBAOE spell and will also randomly select ranged characters and cause skeletal hands to shoot up from the ground and grab them. The Skeletal Hands spell seems to be a root as well as deal damage.

Luckily Camilla casts these two abilities infrequently and will spend most of the fight dealing single-target damage to the tank. As with The Bandit Queen she does substantial melee damage and should be tanked by a shield-bearing Tank Archetype class. 2 or more healers is recommended and a party of 5 or more around level 10 is a must.

Much like the Bandit Queen the main objective is to simply keep the Tank alive and steadily DPS her down. The only real challenge with this boss fight is keeping an eye on the rest of your party who will sporatically take damage from the Skeletal Hands and PBAOE.

Loot: Camilla drops Blue quality Weapons for a class present in your group. It is interesting and strange that these weapons tend to be of Minimum level 18-20, but are incredibly nice none-the-less.

Warhammer online Guide: Tier One Nordenwatch PvP Guide

PvP Scenario - Nordenwatch.

On the server I play, this is probably the most popular tier one scenario. Quite a few noobs make a lot of mistakes here. First off here is the map:

The mistakes that players make the most is that they do not send enough players to the Fortress. Only ONE player is needed to take the closest point to the spawn,(Barracks for Destruction) the rest should push the Fortress. Order will sometimes send half their team to take Barracks(Following the black route) while the other half take Light House and then they do not push the Fortress, but they will go there and pick off Destruction players at range. This works because when the Order players show up at the Barracks, most of the Destruction noobs will run back to hold the Barracks. This leaves the Fortress wide open. The Order will then simply take the Fortress, then they have Light House and Fortress and an easy win if they hold both.

The correct way for Destruction to play is to send one to Barracks and then all push to Fortress. As you run up the little hill just pan your view towards the left, as seen here:

Simply scan for Order players where the red lines point. If there are no Order players then keep pushing Fortress. If you do see some Order players then simply instruct your team to KEEP going to Fortress, and once taken to STAY there and hold it. Now just take four or five players with you to Barracks to defend it. After you defend it go back to the Fortress. This map is won or lost depending on the Fortress. Light House is meaningless, yet some noobs will still try to push it.
